In 1983, Porsche created a single 935 homologated for the road. Perhaps it was too radical, too exuberant, too unreasonable. Yet, a few years later, many private garages created unofficial versions that are highly sought after today. It is in homage to this rebellious spirit, which refuses to conform to conventions, that Unofficial Machines was born.
The Turbo Spezial plays on the ambivalence between elegant beauty in private and radical presence in public. Its carbon fiber body floats like a superhero’s cape, while its gaze does not hide its beastly intentions.
Unofficial Machines HQ is based in Monaco.
The Turbo Spezial will be produced in 90 street-legal units and 10 track-only units (with optimized aero features).
Autoclave carbon parts production will be managed in Torino, Italy, and assembly will take place at the Antibes Factory Unit and in Los Angeles California.
The first Unofficial machines with lightweight body work is powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo flat-six engine upgraded to 750 hp and 950 Nm.
The price for the transformation starts at 350,000 EUR. Pre-orders started on June 22nd 2024 and first delivery planned for summer 2025.
