Fanning the Flames of Automotive Passion with Extravagant and Radical Designs

At a time when mainstream manufacturers seem to be turning away from producing truly « extravagant » vehicles, a new brand emerges to rekindle the flame of passion for high- performance machines.
Unofficial Machines, born from the imagination of renowned designer Alan Derosier, concept car construction expert Alain Grandjean, and High technology specialist David Carvalho, aims to revive the spirit of iconic cars such as the F40, Countach and F1 GTR.

OUR PARTNERS

The founders have agreed on a common goal: Create raw emotions and authentic sensations, reviving an era when these extraordinary machines roamed our streets.

« We believe that everything is still possible, » says Alain.
« Our goal is to convey and share the sensation of driving something truly special, something that breaks the mold of the current overly conformist industry. »

We are developing an ecosystem of creatives who will elevate vehicle design to the level of Art, focusing on the sensuality of objects. Alan’s philosophy is that a designer’s quest should be to touch the public through emotion, without having to explain why.

Has the automobile today become a consumer product with an integrated expiration date, the result of rational design and financial calculations?

By refusing to conform to this reality, Unofficial Machines aims to achieve a higher truth in the design of future high-performance vehicles by challenging the status quo and bringing back the passion and excitement that many believe have been lost in modern design.

This was the case during their first collaboration on the Rocket One project based on the Italian GP motorcycle Energica.

« We experienced this strength during the development of the Rocket One, which gave us the conviction that we couldn’t stop there, » explains Alan. « It’s a perfect blend of our quest for a timeless and uncompromising proposition that opposes the dominant normality in automotive design. »

« Our approach to the supercar sector must be brutal, » declares David. « We aim to evoke a deliciously guilty feeling that gives way to persistent fascination. »

Unofficial Machines doesn’t just create supercars; they shape experiences that resonate with the soul of true enthusiasts, like a beacon for those who believe that cars should be more than just a means of transport. They are a reminder of the passion, excitement, and raw emotion that drew many of us to the love of cars.

Unofficial Machines is a call to rebellion, an invitation to feel the hot oil on your hands, to listen carefully to the mechanical clicks as you strap into the bucket seat, ready to shift gears with a precise gesture that sets the tempo for a symphony of roaring cylinders.

Just as horses gave way to the dominance of the automobile, equestrian activities have evolved, freed from their laborious tasks to become a discipline and a quest for perfection. The time has come for the combustion engine automobile to follow a similar path, especially in the realm of supercars. Like their stallion counterparts, these machines are the product of irrational attention.
